Law Society Annual Dinner 2019
The Law Society Annual Dinner was held on 15 November 2019 at The Fullerton Hotel, and was attended by more than 400 members from the legal profession and judiciary. This year, the theme was “Safari”, alluding to the adventurous nature of the legal profession.
The annual awards of the Law Society were also given out during the evening, including the prestigious C C Tan Award, which this year was conferred on Mr Amolat Singh; the Pro Bono Ambassador Award, which went to Mr Sunil Sudheesan; and the Sports Personality Award to Mr Gary Allen Pryke.
The evening was filled with entertainment highlights by the engaging emcee, Bobby Tonelli; a reggae performance by band Reggae Remedy; and Lila Drums, a djembe drum troupe that engaged the audience with their high energy performance.
