Law Society Annual Dinner 2022
The Law Society Annual Dinner was held on 18 November 2022 at Hotel Fort Canning. More than 400 members from the legal profession and judiciary attended the event this year. The theme of the Annual Dinner was “The Great Liberation”, alluding to liberation from the events of the last few years.
The annual awards of the Law Society were also given out during the evening, including the prestigious C C Tan Award, which was conferred on Mr Chew Kei-Jin; the Pro Bono Ambassador Award, which went to Mr Richard Siaw; and the Sports Personality Award was given to Mr Lee Terk Yang. Mr Chao Hick Tin was also appointed the Law Society’s 14th Honorary Member.
The evening was filled with entertainment highlights by the engaging emcee, Mr Kok Yee Keong, one of our own lawyers from Harry Elias Partnership. President Adrian Tan captivated guests with his entertaining speeches as well as a quiz.
We would like to extend our appreciation to sponsors Atos Wellness, JusConnect Asia, One Farrer Park, Raffles Hotel Singapore, and TADA for their generosity and support of the event.
Once again, we congratulate all award recipients, and thank them for their contributions.

I am sure all of you are excited, as I am, to catch up with old friends and make new connections tonight.
As with past years’ dinners, we will be presenting awards to a few members of our profession – the C C Tan award, Pro Bono Ambassador Award, Sports Personality Award.
