C C Tan Award 2021
The Law Society was pleased to confer the C C Tan Award 2021 on Mr Lok Vi Ming, SC.
The C C Tan Award is the most prestigious award presented by the Society in recognition of a member who exemplifies the virtues of honesty, fair play and personal integrity.
With his ethical, tenacious and pragmatic approach to practice, Mr Lok personifies the values celebrated by the C C Tan Award and is a fine model for younger lawyers to aspire to.

Sports Personality Award 2021
The Sports Personality Award 2021 was conferred on Mr Paul Wong.
In 2017, Council inaugurated the Sports Personality Award to recognise members of the legal profession who have demonstrated leadership in sports administration, exemplary sportsmanship as well as contributed in stellar ways to the sporting fraternity of the legal profession.
Mr Wong has been a valuable member of the Law Society’s Tennis Team for more than two decades. He is a permanent member of the team’s “Cabinet”, providing guidance to the team’s current Convenor and Captain on team issues, as well as its leadership renewal. Mr Wong personifies the values celebrated by the Sports Personality Award and is definitely a stellar model for sportspeople in the legal fraternity.
Pro Bono Ambassador Award 2021
The Pro Bono Ambassador Award presented by the Law Society of Singapore Pro Bono Services was awarded to Mr Abraham Vergis, SC.
